There are many positions available within the company.

Listed below are a few of the positions and the requirements to gain each recognition and position within the company. You may be promoted fast or slow within the company…it is up to you and the work and effort you put towards your career goals. There are no time frames to be promoted to the next level…If EMP recognizes your good work you will be promoted, if you want to be a trainee your whole career that works as well. We work together to get to where you want to be with EMP.

Trainee / Associate

Pre-Requisite:

  • Attend and graduate from a certified school for massage with at least 500 hours
  • Must take EMP’s 2-Day Sports Massage Basics CE Course
  • Must have volunteered at 1 EMP Event
  • Must have completed 2 weeks training with EMP Supervisor
  • Be current with First Aid / CPR (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Be an up-to-date and active LMP (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Must have completed a 1 hour assessment performed on an EMP Supervisor, Manager, or Director

Work Duties:

  • Must perform sports massage at the assigned gym
  • Must work 1 EMP Event per year
  • Must assist the Gym Supervisor
  • Must perform a 1-hour assessment with Gym Supervisor each month
  • Must report all information to Gym Supervisor

Contract Rates

  • 0 – 6th Month = 25% LMP / 75% EMP (Trainee)
  • 6 – 1st Year = 30% LMP / 70% EMP (Associate)
  • 1st + Years = 35% LMP / 65% EMP (Associate)
Gym Supervisor

Pre-Requisite:

  • Must have been an EMP Trainee / Associate
  • Must have worked at 3 EMP Events
  • Must have completed 2 weeks training with EMP Manager
  • Be current with First Aid / CPR (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Be an up-to-date and active LMP (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Must have completed a 1 hour assessment performed on an EMP Manager or Director

Work Duties:

  • Must perform sports massage at the assigned gym
  • Must work 1 EMP Event per year
  • Must initiate event participation
  • Must assist the Gym Manager
  • Must assist the Gym Manager in training trainee / associate
  • Must perform a 1-hour assessment with Gym Manager each month
  • Must report all information to Gym Manager
  • Must assist 1 EMP CE Course per year

Contract Rates

  • 0 – 1st Year = 40% LMP / 60% EMP
  • 1st + Years = 50% LMP / 50% EMP
Gym Manager

Pre-Requisite:

  • Must have been an EMP Trainee / Associate / Supervisor
  • Must have worked at 3 EMP Events
  • Must have completed 2 weeks training with EMP Director
  • Must be Certified in Sports Therapy (CST)
  • Be current with First Aid / CPR (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Be an up-to-date and active LMP (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Must have completed a 1 hour assessment performed on an EMP Director

Work Duties:

  • Must perform sports massage at the assigned gym
  • Must work 2 EMP Events per year
  • Must assist in event coordination
  • Must assist the Gym Director
  • Must assist the Gym Director in training Gym Supervisors
  • Must perform a 1-hour assessment with Gym Director each month
  • Must report all information to Gym Director
  • Must assist 2 EMP CE Course per year

Contract Rates

  • 0 – 1st Year = 80% LMP / 20% EMP
  • 1st + Years = 85% LMP / 15% EMP
Gym Director

Pre-Requisite:

  • Must have been an EMP Trainee / Associate / Supervisor / Manager for 1 year
  • Must have worked at 3 EMP Events
  • Must have completed 2 weeks training with EMP Gym & Field Director
  • Must be Certified in Sports Therapy (CST)
  • Be current with First Aid / CPR (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Be an up-to-date and active LMP (Copy needs to be submitted)
  • Must have completed a 1 hour assessment performed on an EMP Gym & Field Director, CEO, or Owner

Work Duties:

  • Must perform sports massage at the assigned gym
  • Must work 2 EMP Events per year
  • Must assist in event coordination
  • Must assist the Gym & Field Director
  • Must assist the Gym & Field Director in training Gym Managers
  • Must perform a 1-hour assessment with Gym & Field Director, CEO, or Owner each month
  • Must report all information to Gym & Field Director
  • Must assist 2 EMP CE Course per year

Contract Rates

  • 0 + Years = 90% LMP / 10% EMP

All EMP Team Members Receive 20% OFF all products and EMP CE Courses

All EMP Team Members Receive a Flat Pay Rate for each EMP Event they work.
